We successfully completed this new home construction project on Westland Drive in Cleveland, TN, delivering a quality 1,149 square foot home well under budget.

This 1,149 square foot new construction project was built for Daniel and LaTane Smith on Westland Drive in Cleveland, TN. The Smiths are a previous client with whom Sidecar Construction has built a strong working relationship over time. When they were ready to move forward with a new home build, choosing our team was a natural fit based on the trust and results established through earlier projects.

Construction began on an empty lot and covered a full scope of work, including utilities infrastructure, tree removal, site grading, footings, driveway, framing, windows, doors, siding, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, paint, LVP flooring, countertops, kitchen and bathroom appliances, and landscaping. The project moved through each phase smoothly with favorable conditions and no major challenges from start to finish.

The finished home features a striking green board and batten exterior with cedar shutters and a covered front porch with a natural wood post. Inside, the open floor plan is highlighted by vaulted ceilings in the main living area, a kitchen with granite countertops, white shaker cabinets, a center island, and stainless steel appliances. The home includes LVP flooring throughout, a clean and functional bathroom with a granite vanity top, and spacious bedrooms with closet access and an attached bath.

The project was completed in just 117 days from permits to certificate of occupancy and came in 17.43% under budget, saving the client over $31,800. Sidecar Construction continues to maintain an ongoing relationship with the client and looks forward to supporting future projects together.
