Five Point Museum Exterior Renovation
We successfully completed this exterior renovation project for the Five Point Museum in Cleveland, TN, restoring the building's fascia, soffit, and metal post finishes to like-new condition.
The Five Point Museum is a well-known cultural landmark in Cleveland, TN. Over time, the exterior of the building had become visibly worn, with faded and sagging fascia and soffit, along with rusted, chipped, and discolored metal posts along the front and side of the structure. The building needed a refresh that would restore its curb appeal and reflect the quality of the institution inside.
Sidecar Construction has an established working relationship with the museum, having completed previous projects for the organization. With our office located directly behind the building, we were well positioned to take on this renovation and maintain the strong partnership we have built with the museum over time.
The scope of work included removing and replacing the sagging and faded fascia and soffit across the exterior of the building, as well as sanding, prepping, and painting the rusted and chipped metal support posts that line the covered walkways. Our team worked efficiently through favorable conditions with no major challenges, completing the full scope of work in just under one month.
The result is a noticeably cleaner and sharper exterior. The new fascia and soffit sit flush and uniform, replacing the worn and sagging material that had detracted from the building's appearance. The freshly painted metal posts look brand new, giving the covered entryways and walkways a polished, professional finish. The project came in 28.77% under budget, saving the client over $9,100. Sidecar Construction continues to maintain an ongoing relationship with the Five Point Museum and looks forward to supporting future projects.
