We successfully completed this new home construction project on Lang Street in Cleveland, TN for Holden x Southeast Land Trust.

This 1,149 square foot spec home was built in partnership with Maggie Holden, her husband, and an investor through the Southeast Land Trust. The team purchased the land and selected Sidecar Construction to build a quality home on the lot that could be sold to a new homeowner.

Construction began on a previously empty lot in Cleveland, TN. The full scope of work included permitting, utilities infrastructure, tree removal, grading, footings, framing, windows, siding, doors, electrical work, HVAC installation, drywall, paint, LVP flooring, interior and exterior trim, kitchen and bathroom appliances, and landscaping. The project moved through each phase efficiently, with favorable weather and lot conditions throughout the duration of the build.

The finished home features a modern exterior with board and batten siding, cedar shutters, and a covered front porch with a natural wood post. Inside, the open floor plan showcases vaulted ceilings in the main living area, a well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops, white shaker cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. The home includes durable LVP flooring throughout, a dedicated laundry and utility room with a Rheem water heater, and a clean, functional bathroom with granite vanity tops and matte black fixtures.

This project came in 10.56% under budget with no major challenges encountered during construction. Weather, lot conditions, and overall site factors remained favorable from start to finish, allowing the team to deliver a beautiful home on a graded, flat piece of land.
