Candies Creek Ridge: New Construction Spec Home Build
We successfully completed this comprehensive new home construction project on Candies Creek Ridge Road.
This 1,320 square foot home presented unique challenges that tested our adaptability and problem-solving skills.
The project began with careful site preparation and foundation excavation on a sloped lot that required a substantial crawlspace foundation. Our team constructed durable concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls to create the foundation and basement structure, followed by precise framing that maximized the home's footprint while working with the challenging topography. The construction progressed through systematic phases, including roofing, exterior sheathing, and comprehensive concrete work for driveways and walkways.
Despite encountering unexpected challenges, including septic system requirements that necessitated a larger crawlspace than originally planned, and a setback variance issue that delayed the project timeline, we successfully delivered a well-built home.
