We successfully completed a comprehensive renovation and home improvement project in Charleston, TN, transforming multiple rooms throughout a large residence with modern finishes and custom detail work.

Our client came to Sidecar Construction through a referral from an investor we work closely with. The project involved a wide-ranging renovation and improvement effort across multiple areas of a large home in Charleston, TN. This was the kind of project our team thrives on: a significant scope of work, a client who values quality craftsmanship, and the opportunity to build a new relationship through excellent results.

The scope of work touched nearly every corner of the home. It included full interior painting throughout, LVP flooring installation, library-style built-in bookshelves, a complete master bathroom remodel with new tile, a new shower with black-framed glass enclosure, new countertops in the master bath and half bath, new tile in the laundry room and closet, a new front door, new French doors, old bathroom demolition, various electrical work, and custom woodwork throughout. Each element was selected and installed to bring a bright, modern feel to the residence while complementing the home's existing character.

The finished result speaks for itself. The great room features a stunning vaulted shiplap ceiling with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and large ceiling fans. The master bedroom showcases elegant coffered ceiling beams, and the walk-in closet includes a full custom organizer system. The master bathroom was completely transformed with a natural wood double vanity, dark stone countertops, arched mirrors, decorative sconces, and a spacious walk-in shower with black grid-framed glass. The half bath features bold teal board and batten walls with a matching vanity and statement lighting. The laundry room was finished with shaker cabinetry, dark countertops with an integrated sink, and a checkerboard tile floor.

The project was completed in approximately eight to nine weeks with no challenges encountered during construction. The final cost came in 6.28% under budget, saving the client over $10,200.
